While the staff were lovely, the beds and rooms are brutal. There is no air conditioning even though it is advertised. The beds were brutally uncomfortable. Our room was 25 degrees all night with no airflow and we have never spent a more uncomfortable night anywhere.

Let's be clear: the addage that you get what you pay for does not apply in this case. This was an expensive place - it was just cheaper than other places in Ottawa this weekend. But we had a lot of issues. Keycards wouldn't work - had to go back to reception twice. They moved us - only one key of the two they gave us worked. And they did NOT care. No apologies from the reception staff at all. When asked if I could have another pillow, I was asked toc ome back to the desk in ten minutes, he'd check storage but he didn't think there were any; I flat-out asked, in the whole building (which wasn't remotely full) there wasn't a single extra pillow. Nope. And no apology. Then when we checked out this morning, front desk staff took my card and didn't say a single word. No thank you, no "did you need anything else?" No "how was your stay?" Nothing. She didn't even look at me. The staff need re-training in customer service. And maybe how to program keycards.

This place was not advertised to us as a college DORM that is being sold as a hotel room. My family and I were flabbergasted when we walked in to an outdated dorm that was dusty and reeked of urine. Do not be fooled as parking is not garunteed as you pay for parking across the hotel in a city lot that fills up fast. While it was cheap, way nicer hotels are only 30$ more.Take your money elsewhere.
