Loved the history of the building and was fascinated by all the presidents and Hollywood stars who considered the hotel a hotspot. The location is excellent, near all the clubs, restaurants and shopping. The parking not so good , you have to pay 8.00 a day which is not much but would add up, most hotels don't charge, but that is not too bad. The hotel showed character in a tasteful way. I can tell it is a bit of a struggle to maintain it with new amidites and fixtures, but things still worked well and I had no issues. All and all, it was a very pleasant stay, the staff was excellent and I would stay there again for sure.

This is an older hotel in downtown Kamloops. If you are not used to a downtown neighborhood, this is not for you. It's a scary downtown, like Vancouver, Kelowna and Vernon. Homeless people everywhere. The price is right, the room was fine, included breakfast is excellent. There is no underground parking. Parking is outside and about Cad$8.50 per day. Outside parking was scary but we had no issues. The staff was friendly and helpful.
