Great place to stay!!
Amazing place to stay. The staff are so friendly, good is delicious, and the setting is so peaceful. Perfect place to walk, curl up with a book on the porch or front patio, and enjoy the beauty of this historic building and lovely grounds.

We loved the location and authenticity of the Charles Hotel. The rooms were well outfitted, bathrooms clean. The windows could benefit from an update.

I had requested a first floor room a few weeks before my stay because I have trouble climbing stairs but I was told only 2nd floor available and no elevator. The staff did help me bring my bags up and then back down at check out. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
