Pros: Beautiful grounds, excellent beaches, friendly and helpful staff, Great food and excellent service. Comfortable room. Concierge very helpful. Cons: many restaurants on the cool side, a sweater helped. Would have been nice to have a restaurant open closer to our room ( like Spot or Rincan Mexicano) within easy walking distance. Shuttles were good most of the time but at times a long wait. Lomas Rep in lobby by front desk a bit snarky.

We had an amazing time. It should be noted that this resort is not for someone with bad news or who is not able to walk at least 2 1/2 miles multiple times a day and climb steps and cross any services such as cobblestone and bridges. The resort was unbelievably gorgeous. The amount of food amenities was fantastic. My only complaints would be the check in process. It was not clear that the minute you arrive. You need to actually dial the concierge‘s number and immediately coordinate all of your dinner reservations for the entire stay. If you do not do this, you will not be eating dinner before 9:30 PM if you are lucky.

This was a wonderful property. Every single staff member was there to serve and had a wonderful, gracious, welcoming personalities. The food was great and I have many dietary restrictions and every single restaurant catered to every restriction. They asked at every restaurant and then made sure I was accommodated (gluten-free, no certain spices, etc.). It was unbelievable. Highly recommend. My wife and I had a delightful stay. The only negative was that our flight was cancelled and we had to stay an extra day and they wanted to charge me four times the normal rate. Of course it is more expensive when you book anywhere last minute, like with airfare, but I'm already there and it is an unforeseen necessity. They could have really won me over by just simply giving me the same rate for one more night. So I went elsewhere that was affordable for that extra night. Other than that, just an incredible vacation.

Customer service is impeccable! Food options for breakfast and dinner are always higher quality than lunch, but pretty good considering that it’s all inclusive! Rooms get cleaned every day, and concierge is always so friendly.

The hotel was very cleaned and it looked nice and calming. Most of the staff was professional, friendly. I didn't like that I had a credit of $100 for massage and I had to pay the full price! Starbucks is Not included in your package! You have to over pay for a coffee! I RECOMMEND TO BRING MEXICAN PESOS YOU WILL BE CHARGED IN PESOS AND IF YOU DON'T KNOW YOU GET CHARGE MORE. The beach was clean in the Am becareful with the rocks! Young men will come to the beach from outside to sell you staff everyday. Security will be trying to keep them away. They understand when you say NO so just say No. The massage sellers will keep trying to sell you massages they asked me 3 time same day that I had a massage it was annoying. Activities are over price compared to all my trips around the world over price! The ladies that sell the activities were rude because I wanted to pay the activities right there with cash or card they want it to be charged to your room I said NO they agree accept a card however 3 working cards were declined*...! I loved that you can get food delivered to your room it is include in the package. During the day you have to be dressed up woman all covered up to get lunch or you will be ask to leave to dress up! The restaurants dinner(beside 1) will be closed Monday to Thursday! Bars will be open.. If you are an alcoholic and you are in recovery this won't be good for you. They still need to work with prices, the harassment and dining options.

Likes: staff were great, food/restaurants are very good. Grounds within the property are excellent. Dislikes: beach is poor and has unsightly concrete wave breakers. This was never a natural sand beach and can be very rough under foot. This property is large and spread along the coast line and the resort has numerous golf carts etc running around of which some drive way too fast where guests walk. Consideration: this is a wedding destination resort. There were numerous weddings during our stay so be prepared for a lively time in and around the large pools and outdoor wedding parties and receptions going late into the evening. This was not a big deal for us but something to consider depending on what your vacation needs are.

The beach was decent but not swimmable. Lots of walking. Golf cart "taxis" were around but not enough. Breakfast buffet was great. Dinner is a pain and not that good. You have to make reservations and the choices are slim. I had acid reflux most of the week so be prepared. Pools are nice but you do not get access to all of them. Music was not my style (nor most people there...they need to adjust for their real crowd). Room service was bad. It took 2 hours, food was cold and no microwave in the room. Rooms are nice and roomy, great whirlpool tub in each room. Waitresses were around to bring you drinks everywhere. Airport transportation was free and top notch. Entertainment was OK....could have been better.
