The vibe is cool. The bed was soft and extra bedding was avaliable. Bathroom was spacious. Views were nice. Felt safe. Everything was clean. A lot of historical photos and decor to appreciate.

A getaway from the Ghetto way
Great little resort in the heart of downtown Reno. No casino on the bottom so we didn’t have to deal with the old people and the damn cigarette smoke.

Cute, family friendly hotel in a fantastic locatio
We stay in Reno every time we ski and love this little hotel so much. We’ve been here 3 times and it’s an unassuming place that’s packed with goodness. By far, our favorite place. There is a nice guest lounge with a billiards table, an espresso machine, and a warm indoor pool that my kids absolutely love. The rooms are incredibly spacious and clean. The location is perfect too - it’s just a few blocks from the major casinos and lots of food options, so very walkable. This place is also a steal. While the price looks higher, I don’t think they charge a resort fee like other hotels. The people working there are also very kind. Lovely place, would stay again.

This is a period hotel that is very quant with lots of character. We enjoyed the indoor heated pool. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the room was large and roomy. We would definitely stay here again!

Our room was spacious and offered a great view of downtown Reno being on the 18th floor! It was clean, comfy, and well-equipped. This hotel has a 1920s/1930s vibe, esp. around Christmas time, and the staff was very friendly. It is right by the Truckee River with lovely parks and walkways, and is not that far from main attractions in downtown Reno. Our only reservation is the parking garage having an unusual design, being slopey and low-ceiling, and not being directly accessible from the hotel lobby. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.

Nothing unique. Place was very safe with closed garage at nights and controlled entrance which was the biggest plus. The old casino B rated hotel musty smell was unbecoming of the tittle "Resort". Room was roomy but still had that old smell which one gets used to it.
