They advertised the resort as a 5-star hotel, but it’s more accurately a 3.5- or 4-star property at best. The resort is 30 years old, and the pictures on Expedia don’t accurately represent its current condition; it looks much older in person. One of the reasons we booked this resort was the expectation that golf would be included, but they charge $200 per person for tee times. The food was average, with only 1 or 2 decent restaurants out of the 9 available. Additionally, the buffet wasn’t open all day, which was inconvenient. It’s unrealistic to expect guests to adhere to specific meal times when they might be hungry at other times. The room service menu is also quite limited, lacking options like wings, fruits, or fresh smoothies. It seems they’ve cut corners on food quality. Overall, we probably won’t return, and it’s definitely not a 5-star hotel

Cleanliness, staff was very helpful and very polite, restaurant options were plentiful with very good to great food, conveniently located to the airport and to both Cabo San Lucas and San Jose Los Cabos. Overall a great and enjoyable stay.

Dudamos mucho en quedarnos en Grand Fiesta Americana por los reviews donde especificaban que era una propiedad muy grande pero fue una excelente decision. Si es un resort grande pero porque hay villas (es ahi donde utilizas el varro de golf). Somos una familia con niños chicos y gozamos nuestra estancia. La comida deliciosa (tambien fue una grata sorpresa), instalaciones limpias y los restaurantes excelentes. Las albercas muy limpias, hay una que es ideal para niños chiquitos!! Aunque la playa es rocosa mis hijos se divirtieron muchisimo viendo los peces pues por las tardes era como piscina. Sin duda volveremos a hospedarnos aqui

I would sadly never recommend this place. To get a drink at the pool would take over an hour food was usually over 2 hours at pools rooms and restaurants. They were nice but with toddlers we can wait 2 hours for fries. We usually had to go ask again to get anything. The kids playground was covered in fire ants. My son got 5 huge bites in 10 mins. We had a bug in our bed the first night. (Spider beetle) To get to the pool/bars and restaurants from your room you have to be picked up or walk 10 mins straight uphill It’s just not the all inclusive we were expecting the food was very average we had panda in the airport and it was the best food all week
