I stayed here years ago and I can see a huge difference. There is no upkeep. Need a night show. Need more staff. The receptionist was not friendly.

We stayed here because our boat was in the marina and we were doing some work that needed us off the boat. It is very convenient, safe and secure resort with a wonderful Mexican town across the river accessed by Pangas. We did not do all inclusive as it would be a shame to miss the flavors of all the local restaurants in Barra de Navidad. We did have the breakfast buffet which was wonderful but would get old after a few days. Overall we love coming here, the grounds are interesting and beautiful. The beach and pools seem to be the biggest draws for families.

Perfect family vacation
Our 5 day stay was wonderful!!! The hotel is beautiful and the views of the bay are stunning! My girls had a blast at the pools and private beach area. The food was good and the staff were friendly/helpful. The hotel offered rides into the small town it’s connected too which was perfect for us because we have family in the town.

We will return!
We have stayed here in the past, and we used to keep our boat in their marina. the staff, the property, the rooms are all very enjoyable. One of the best things: access by water taxi to the town of Barra Navidad , across the channel. Many great restaurants and shops there. Sometimes there are local festivals there, which makes it a fun, local experience. Lovely local folks.
