Requested drinking water, there was no cold water coming from the sink or tub faucet in the room. It was very warm and not drinkable. There was NO bottled water available for purchase and the associate at the service desk was less than hospitable when we called. I have stayed at many best western in my travels, this may be the last time and will be sure to tell everyone I know about the Gatineau location!

The room was clean, bed was comfortable. Pillows and blanket we good as well. The room was a good size . Wall are paper thin, could hear my neighbor's conversation clearly and they were speaking at a regular volume. No dinning options in the hotel. No vending machines for drinks or snacks either.

We stayed for two nights on the 8th floor. At the elevators it smelled like human vomit. The smell eventually made its way into our room. We put a towel down at the door to keep the smell out but it seemed to somehow be in the bathroom. My guess is through an air vent. All the front staff said was sorry. We will not stay there again.

The elevator was ridiculously slow. It could take up 10 minutes before arriving. I took the 6 flights of stairs down twice and arrived before the elevator arrived down. The coffee machine was out of service twice in my 19 hour stay. The tv channel selection is mediocre and the remote does not work well. You have to be very close to the TV and often have to push more than once on the keys. Overall, ok, but unlikely to recommend or visit again.
