The hotel it's self was nice. Clean. And had updated furniture and television. The breakfast was great in the morning. The pool was nice. But quite under heated. The grounds were dirty. I called and set up an early check in. I paid an additional fee for it. When we arrived we were told the room wasn't ready and they had no notes about the early check in fee. So that was disappointing. Other than that everything was good. I highly recommend the restaurant Tamarind it's right next door.

Exceeded our expectations. Best free breakfast I have ever had, and I have had dozens. The little touches stood out amenities and staff wise. Pool was great and the lobby is beautiful. So close to anything my heart desired (shopping, food, smoke shop, short drive to center of Poughkeepsie). There is a bar at the hotel if thats your thing, and one walkable next door as well. Its not often I stay somewhere thar is kid-friendly AND romantic. We were there for romance and leisure. I saw kids there but it did not feel like it, if that makes sense. Would absolutely book again.

The staff was nice and friendly but my experience was just of bad luck one of the nights the enter city of Poughkeepsie was out of power no electricity no hot water no a/c That night was hell for me. The other nights I kept hearing this banging like something was hitting the floor or jumping on the floor, am not sure if it’s the pipes or their heater but it was pretty annoying made it hard to sleep.

Would stay again

Good bed, good shower and clean, so the three essentials were covered. Not the newest hotel but clean and in good condition. Breakfast buffet was above average quality and the coffee was good as free hotel coffee goes. I didn’t use the pool or exercise as it was just a quick overnight stay but my experience was positive and I would stay here again.
