I've stayed here before and it was dated but the renovations make the room feel cleaner and more modern.

The staff was great, but I was put into room 122 with a known issue with the thermostat. -27c outside?? So I was told after I mentioned the lack of heat. The sleeping quarters were immaculate and of good quality bedding and fixtures, the bathroom however needs a lot of work, mold under the soap dish, the ceiling was patched and not well quite visible, the baseboard by front closet was quite dirty.
