We stayed at Dreams Natura with our two kids over the Thanksgiving holiday. From the very moment we arrived to the moment we left our concierge Cesar Oliva was very attentive to us, by sending daily activites, booking our reservations with dinner, or transportation. Checking in on us throughout the day to make sure we had anything we needed, and experices like that truly make a trip. The resort was very clean, the kids had a ton of activities or things to choose from. Every staff member was cautious and professional, and went above and beyond for the guests. The food was excellent and plentiful. Room service was quick and hot. The rooms were cleaned daily and restocked, with all the goods. The pool concierge for the cabanas and Preffered club Pool bartenders and drink service is amazing and relaxing, the little details of giving guest cold towels and cucumbers and drawing sand art on a towel truly above and beyond and makes the experience that much better. The spa is a must, insanley gorgeous and relaxing. And a special thank you to the kids club staff for treating our children like family, they didnt want to leave and was always entertained and the staff goes above and beyond to keep your kids having fun and safe!

Small, condensed resort. Resort was very busy and crowded. We were only there a few nights. Any issues with the hotel/room itself were resolved very quickly. Most issues were due to it just being too crowded. Shows in the lobby were hard to see as they don’t really have enough seating so guests would rudely stand blocking the view of everybody behind them. Seating on pool deck was not enough and everyone gets up early to reserve pool chairs. Better get out to the pool before breakfast if you want a seat. Slides and skycoaster were fun. Not much for an 11 year old to do other than sand volleyball or beach soccer. Beach is not good but we kinda knew that going in. Probably a better resort for families with younger children.

I have to start with how awesome, friendly, kind, and helpful every member of the staff. Dreams resort packs in as many guest into this hotel they can possibly get without actually being able to accommodate everyone. Which does and did pin guest against each other for dining options, bar options, the buffet would be an hour wait for a table, not enough lounge chairs on beach or pool to accommodate even half the amount of guest. It was not relaxing to stress over watching the clock. Lazy river, kid pools, and slides all close at 5. Yes 5pm. Then You get to wait till 6 for any restaurants to open. Getting to your room to change at 5 when everyone else is…. Not happening. You won’t eat till 8-9. Which might be the hotels ideal situation because they blast music till 10:30pm that can be heard for miles. The beach closes at dusk, even for adults. No nighttime stroll. I am assuming this is for safety since the hotel is in the middle of the mangrove forest (smells awful!) and leaks into the ocean right in front of hotel. The ocean is reddish brown with seaweed. My family called this resort the Great Wolf Lodge of Mexico all week and did not mean it as a compliment. Thank you to the awesome employees that made impossible and frustrating situations bearable. Dreams do better. Picked a remote location to upset nature and guest equally!

If you’re coming in fall/winter months, beware the pools are NOT heated. Beach area is swimable most days but it’s very murky. Though we got a free upgrade, the amenities were just average. Not like other dream resorts. Oceana restaurant wasn’t open. Hardly ever saw the entertainment team. What was on the schedule for activities wasn’t followed. It was just an average stay. But if you’re a beach lover, this is not your resort.

I truly liked the friendliness of the staff and the food was good. The linens both in the room and at the pools were great. The bed was very comfortable; excellent service at the pools; most of the entertainment was very good. The down side was that the room was constantly damp and so the floor could be slippery and all of our clothes and luggage had a musty smell by the time we left. The rooms need to be refurbished and painted. They are well worn. On another note the staff such as the entertainment crew were very good. Nov 20th at the Italian restaurant the food and music were wonderful. The sax player Daniella and the violinist Day were excellent. the Manager Enrica and serverOscar were great. The blue grill served excellent steaks and the Japanese restaurant was very good as well. the buffet was consistently good and the servers great. The mixed drinks were however very inconsistent. Even as a preferred guest you didn't get the same quality each time you went to their bars. The lobby bar was great and more consistent with their drinks. Most of the drinks that had sweeteners in them had a very harsh after taste. Overall though things like wine were very good and the beer was fine. The servers at the lobby bar were great. The best server our family met at the pool was Estefania. She was absolutely great every day. Another server at the preferred bar on the lobby level was Freddy and again he was excellent. When checking in we met Angel who also was excellent.

I really enjoyed my stay. Everyone on staff was very friendly and helpful. Shout to the young man Jesus, who kept my room clean/tidy. The woman Yusetvy and Joel(front desk), were so nice! The only thing is that I wish there were more adult activities throughout the day and live entertainment by poolside. But other than that, I would definitely return.

Resort was beautiful. We did not have a good stay. Every night I was awoken by neighbors in the room above us. I called the front desk one night at 1:30 in the morning. To complain about the noise and banging that the person above my room was making. Every night it was bang, bang , bang,. Moving furniture around. I can hea it being dragged around the room. Front desk practically did nothing. The sent security to my room. To listen to the noise. That's all. We suggested if we could please move rooms. And were denied it. Very upsetting to have to listen to this person above make this noise and have to deal with it. At this moment I do not look forward to staying at dreams natura in the future.

The room smelled bad. They moved us to a different room, which was worse. It was in the corner. We had no ocean view, and it also smelled like sewer.
