We loved our stay at the Azul Ixtapa Grande! It was so quiet when we were in our room and the view from our room was incredible. The fine dining restaurants were great and there was good food at the general buffet. The staff...everyone and everywhere....were excellent, so attentive and ready to serve! Make sure you tip frequently because they deserve it!

Very nice facilities and there are many food options. Clean and good service. The only negative is that there were supposed to be sealing boats and kayaks and snorkeling available, but the hotel cancelled them due to dangerous marine wildlife, although other hotels in the area didn't have restrictions.

Dogs are welcome now which is a nice touch...but when you get several in the buffet and they start barking IT IS NOT A GOOD IDEA. Some of the servers are welcoming and helpful but most have no English and it is frustrating tryi g to get information. Aqua fitness continues to start late and finish esrly. The instructor continually looks at her wtch..not impressed.barking
