From start to finish this was NOT a pleasant experience. When we got there it really had no place to park while we checked in and got our bags out. Then my husband had to take our van almost a block away to park. While I was checking in I was informed that I would need to put up a 200.00 deposit (it was not told to me when booking the rooms) for incidentals and in case of damage. When I protested they said it would not take the money then they said it would hold it. Very confusing.
The room was very small and the bed was hard.
The so-called vending area was a drink machine and a snack machine with 2 bags of salt and vinegar chips in it.
In the foyer the fire panel was going off all 3 days I was there and made me feel uneasy. I was told it was being fixed several times.
When I went to breakfast the hard boiled eggs were kept in a warmer even after cooking (they burned). Someone tried to get OJ and the thing came off in their hands. The OJ spilled all over the floor and when someone came to get it up they tried to use a mop with an empty bucket and used towels,
I looked at the water cooler in the lobby (was going to fill my bottle) but I saw a bug on it crawling around.
All in all I would NOT recommend this hotel because I think that the A rating is UNDESERVED.
