The employees I had the pleasure of interacting with were super nice -- I think one who was particularly kind was named Adriel? Not sure I heard him correctly.
Keep in mind that they lock the doors after about 10pm at night and are not a 24-hour hotel. I do not stay out late or party so I had never had to worry about the locked door and never ran into a problem. Regardless, I forgot this fact and was out until close to midnight or 1am one of the nights I was there. It appeared to me that the employee had waited for me to come back, knowing that I would be locked out if he didn't. I DO NOT recommend that you do this or take advantage of their kindness, as my mistake was a true accident, but the employee was very kind and kept telling me not to worry.
After a couple different cities, I picked a "nicer" hotel for my last stop in Valladolid -- this one. It did not disappoint. The room was clean and the floor was spotless, something that I notice and is important to me. There was always hot water for a shower. Breakfast in the morning was out in the open-air center patio and consisted of juice, coffee, fruit (watermelon, canteloupe, and papaya), white bread toast, butter, and jam. They had free purified water all day long.
The location was very walkable but not too close to everything to be loud at night.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Valladolid.
