Lovely resort. It is clean, well appointed and the staff is accommodating to most requests. Beach was nice. Bartender, Gustavo, at the swim up bar was excellent! He kept the shots coming whether we wanted them or not! The buffet food was good but not excellent which is understandable for the amount of people they have to cater to. Fine dining was a joke because if you did not log in immediately at 8am to book your reservation you were out of luck. In our 3 attempts we were able to obtain 1 reservation for 9pm at Sensei. This was a common complaint among the people we met. We agreed to a sales presentation for their vacation club but the "manager" was very offended we would not spend OUR $40k on their club. The evening shows were very fun and entertaining. I WOULD recommend the resort but steer clear of the 2 hour sales presentation and don't expect fine dining at the nicer restaurants every evening. Sensei was passable. Los Girasoles was excellent!

Our 2nd trip to this resort. The beach is smooth but the rain kicked up the seaweed from the previous week so we mostly stayed by the pool, except for daily walks. Pools were clean with plenty of chairs and poolside service. Many options to choose. Plenty of entertainment at the swim up bar pool but we chose the quieter one. Made many friends. All staff was very friendly. We dislike the constant push to upgrade or buy a membership. They need to tone that down. A great place we would return to.

This was a beautiful property with lots of outside space. Service was great in some areas and poor in others. Not consistent. The a la carte restaurants we always booked ar 8am and when you did get in, portions were small and they always tried to upsell a $100usd bottle of wine. Beach was well maintained and drinks flowed freely. I would say it is a 4/5. Not much to do there though.

This was probably one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. The people at the hotel, spoke English but didnt understand it. They said they booked us a dinner reservation and never did. Room service rings and rings, no one answers. When we finally found a place that would take us for dinner, we were the only ones at the restaurant. Which was a little weird, however a few minutes into dinner, a raccoon's family joined us and proceeded to try and jump on to the table. We left in a hurry. I want my money back and I want to erase this bad memory from my brain. If you like wildlife and want to feel unsafe... by all means stay here.

The staff was very friendly. The condition of the property needs to be upgraded. The walks and patios were in desperate need of repair. We saw at lease 5 people that had fallen,tripped, on the uneven pavers. The food in the specialty dining restaurants was great, howevr the food in the buffet restaurant was not only poor in quality but they were always running out of everthing. Always empty bowls. Also there was novariety. 4 nights they had the same menu... which also happened to be not so good anyway. We were there 9 nights and the water pressure was always bad, just barely coming out. And the hot water was barely there. One afternoon there was no hot water at all and they didn't turn it back on until evening. And one time I went to unlock my door and neither my wife's wristband nor mine could unlock our door. Found out from a bunch of other guests that it happened to a lot of other people as well. Anywy, you aaked.

Had a great time! Staff was very nice, very friendly and caring. My only small complaint is I didn’t have quick access to the butler number to book dinners. If there was a small piece of paper the front desk could give you at check in that would be great. But I just had to take a picture of the paper. Small issue. Not huge.

Had a great first stay and can’t wait to come back. Carlos our butler took such amazing care of us. We are grateful and hope we can get him as a butler again when we return. He really went above and beyond to make everything perfect. All other staff were amazing too. 5 stars!!!

Definitely need to invest in upgrading pools , add bars and entertainment been to many resorts in Cancun and this one was the worst definitely will not be back. Very little entertainment, drink service at the pools were terrible servers literally passed our group of 15 numerous times and wouldn’t even ask if we needed a drink. Hotel in rough shape our room was in a older building which air conditioning system barely three cold air ask for service guy came stayed 5 mins said it was fix and still not working properly.

At the resort for 21 days, first week hot water issues. lots of cold showers. our son in a different room without hot water for 2 days. NO compensation, reply was we fix!!! The beach inundated with Sargasso weed, beach and water not very inviting. Food in most restaurants was average, Mexican restaurant was the best. Servers were good and courteous. The resort is about a 45 minute walk to Puerto Morales on the beach, not accessible by road unless you want to pay $50 us for a 15 minute cab fare! The resort is tired although they are working to restore it. I would rate it 2-3 out of 5.
