This resort is located in the middle of the Ixtapa hotel zone. There are restaurants, bars, vendors, pharmacies and a few small grocery stores right across the street. The facility is clean and the rooms are comfortable. The staff at the front desk and the concierge team are friendly and accommodating. Very nice place to stay. Gracias!

Service and staff were excellent. Property is older and could use some updating. Food was good with good variety. Italian restaurant was very good. Wonderful beach and pool area. Check in process was very slow. More staff should be checking in guests when there is a line up to check in after 3pm. Seems that other staff at front desk are waiting for customers to check out or with room issues and are just standing there with nothing to do as the checkin line grows Should be better staff management in my opinion.

A fun, fantastic family adventure

We had the best time staying in Emporio Ixtapa. The staff were very kind, helpful and attentive. The atmosphere was fun with live music in the lobby pretty much every night. I would recommend staying on the upper levels if you don't want to hear it super loud. We had an ocean view room which offered an incredible experience of getting the light as the sun rose. Being able to walk right down to the beach was a plus. My mom is in a wheelchair and her accessibility to most everything was also a plus.
