I went for my birthday & enjoyed my stay from the time we walked in. The manager Jonathan made sure that my birthday was celebrated every day that I was there which I appreciated. Now, onto the the butler’s omggg Angel & Antonio made everything so much easier for my sister & I. They practically knew exactly what we needed & wanted before we even asked. Overall I highly recommend TRS Yucantan.

Every stay at TRS was amazing and I really enjoyed every moment. However, calling the shuttle was a bit difficult. The shuttle to the lobby or restaurants took us longer even when the butler requested the ride. Addition, there was a luggage pickup service for the checkout, but our luggage was not picked up at the requested time. We’ve waited for 45 mins to get our luggage to the lobby. All staff were friendly and welcoming and smiling all the time.

The TRS Yucatan is a wonderful place for vacation. I felt the staff was welcoming and helped us with everything we asked. They put the customer first and do their best to make it a great time for everyone. I saw staff setting up a birthday surprise for a guest celebrating and other little things that just bring their level of service above and beyond other places. They may try and set up an appointment to sell you a timeshare but you are free to decline or if you do accept the tour they give you discounts or gifts with nothing expected in return.

I recently stayed at this resort from 10/12 - 10/16, and unfortunately, my experience was far from what I expected. Upon arrival, the check-in process seemed nice until we were directly sent to a sales club to offer a "rewards program". They did not want to take no for an answer and proceeded to tell us they wanted to host a celebratory breakfast for our 5 year wedding anniversary and then have a 60 minute presentation. They showed us three options of gifts and the only one that interested us was the nest which was a very unique bali bed by the salt water pool. The salt water pool was the reason we booked this resort as it was gorgeous and unique. We told the sales man that we just heard at check in that the salt water pool was shut down due to damage from the hurricane a couple of weeks ago. We should have been notified of this before we arrived but especially before agreeing to this breakfast/presentation. This was an extreme let down for us. We went to the presentation which lasted 3 hours (they took us to a buffet, no celebratory breakfast). Afterwards, we worked out having a bali bed by the infinity pool instead to make up for the nest. When the time came (which happened to be on our last day there), my butler proceeded to inform me that it was only for the beach, not the infinity pool. This trip was the best experience I’ve ever had and will definitely come back in the near future. Everything was so perfect, I cant think of anything that TRS can improve because it was outstanding in every way possible. The food is beyond this world, the amenities are incredible and 1 week wasn't enough to do everything that they have to offer, so we definitely will come back. I recommend everyone to try the Cenote Dinner with love ritual, buy tickets for Chic Cabaret, is really the best experience We had! Bravo was incredible too! Will have to try Bingo next time we come. The people here are incredible, super friendly, very respectful and super helpful. Hands down the best customer service I’ve ever experience. The staff is so friendly and genuine that I’m leaving a part of my heart to every staff that I met. I definitely want to thank every staff but specially the following, because they made our stay super incredible. Thank you Fernanda G. It was really convenient that each villa had their own team of butler. Our butlers Armando, Carlos, Diego were very helpful with sending the daily itinerary, booking our dinner reservations, and assisting with other needs.

El hotel está divino, los restaurantes riquísimos Lo único que odie fue a los de travel club, me dijeron que sería un “tour de bienvenida” y nada de eso era, fue una plática aburridisima queriéndome vender una membresía, me hicieron perder dos horas de mi tiempo, el supervisor Alfredo se puso súper incisivo de querer que comprara algo que nosotros no estábamos interesados y lo mencionamos muchísimas veces y simplemente no paraba, súper incomodo Desafortunadamente al ser las primeras dos horas de nuestra experiencia en TRS, si afectó nuestra estadía Recomiendo mucho el hotel, sin embargo sugiero que tengan aún más actividades entretenidas para cuando llueve, ya que nos toco dos días de lluvia y las actividades no eran muchas, ni entretenidas

The butler service, especially Ricardo was outstanding. He made our trip special. The room was large with comfortable beds. The service staff from the drivers to the waiters at the restaurants to the bingo game at night. Highly recommend this hotel. It was worth every penny. You will not regret it.

This was our 1st stay. Based on some of the reviews I had seen, I thought it would have been better. Check in: The process took awhile as they were continually trying to get us to become rewards members. We have never been out of the country and just wanted to get to our room after a long day of flying. Room: We chose a jacuzzi suite and were in building 71 right at the original TRS pool. We liked the location. We were on second floor. Everything didn’t work. Tv had no connection. We were told butler would be right up and he came up in 15 mins. Said he would activate tv but never came back to do so. He asked for our favorites for the fridge and stated it would be stocked frequently. The balcony had no privacy curtains so we asked for those. Which we never received until the day before we left. We asked on numerous occasions. The room was VERY damp and musty smelling. Room Service and housekeeping: The television worked fine for room service after day 2 when we had to ask again for IT to come take a look. Arrival for room service was anywhere between 30 to 45 minutes. Food was fine for snacking. Our room was not cleaned daily without being asked to have it done. We always had our green light on. We did get chocolate covered strawberries and rose petals per my booking request for our honeymoon but nothing after that. Overall we had a good time but felt it was only 1 day we enjoyed. Wish there was some type of tour we could sign up to take so we could see the must see spots.

I celebrated my birthday at this resort, my first solo trip, and the staff made me feel welcomed every day. The activities are endless, they have numerous restaurants, and it’s a good balance of peace and fun. Definitely a couple-friendly place, but if you’re looking for paradise and want to meet people from around the world, consider TRS Yucatán. Also, their steakhouse and italian restaurants are delicious. I can’t wait to go back!

We stayed at TRS Yucatan for 7 days, our first 5-star resort in Mexico and first time in Cancun. The check-in was smooth, but the late-night buffet food was disappointing, though we hoped it was a one-time issue. Our JR suite with a private pool was nice, but lacked privacy from neighboring suites. The butler service was fine, though with one person serving the entire villa, they were sometimes hard to reach. The resort is massive, with access to multiple properties, and both the beach and pools were great. The food and drinks were the biggest letdowns. The bars drinks, like piña coladas and margaritas, lacked flavor and were overly alcoholic. We expected better from a 5-star resort, especially since we had a mediocre experience at a 4-star resort two years ago that seemed comparable. The buffets were mostly terrible, with issues like moldy food, undercooked meats, and flies. Some dishes were okay, but overall, by the end of the week, we were eager to leave for better food. The à la carte restaurants were a step up, but still underwhelming. Adding to the disappointment, we were invited for a tour and birthday gift for my partner which initially appeared really nice, only to be pushed into a timeshare pitch, which was extremely dishonest. To top it off, I got food poisoning on the last day. Overall, we were extremely disappointed and won’t be returning.

I think everything is great, but right after checking in, I was constantly pushed to buy a timeshare. This instantly gave me a negative impression of the hotel because I hadn’t even experienced the services yet, and they were already pushing me to buy a membership. I believe no one would want to spend so much money on a product they haven’t even used yet! I understand your company wants to make sales, but shouldn’t the approach be different? Wouldn’t it be more effective to wait until we’ve had a chance to experience the services before offering the sales pitch? Other than that, everything else was great, but this part was really unfortunate.
