I have stayed at over dozen all inclusive resorts in my life. Mostly, I was overwhelmed by how friendly the staff are at this resort . So humble, happy and helpful! I read a ton of reviews before deciding to book. Here's my honest opinion.... The FOOD was so good, maybe other people just make bad choices? the restaurants are so fun in the evenings and they feed you until you are satisfied. I did not like any of the desserts at any point during any meal(I have a sweet tooth, so this was a bit disappointing) there is a coffee bar that made me so happy . amazing . The ladies tried to clean my room everyday, I only accepted three times because I keep a clean room. but when they do clean, it is fast and effective there is a slight mold smell when the AC unit runs. yes there are leaks when it rains ... but you have to remember people you are heading into a humid tropical rain forest !! there are a ton of maintenance workers and cleaners working nonstop trying to fix and update as best as they can . i appreciate their efforts . most of the other hotels along the same strip on the beach are very dilapidated and worn from the constant beating of the rain and wind . the wyndham is trying very hard to keep things nice. I did have a massage as well.. highly recommend my kids love the candy shop we walked to the shops down the street safely (20 min one way) lastly .. the beach !! its gorgeous , the sand is soft and white and the water is turquoise . breathtaking the pools are small

A few major and minor issues, one night a group of men decided to sing at the top of their lungs for 45 mins at 430am. It required many calls and 45 mins to get staff to stop them. Lunch time was very limited vegetarian options. Not clear why they would have veggie burgers at night at a restaurant but not available as an option lunchtime too. Seems simple enough but every time I asked they looked at me like I was crazy to ask. This hotel caters more towards Mexican/central/South American IMO. Which is fine, just something I didn’t recognize in advance. It’s also far more friendly for little kids than teenagers, the lounge was poorly kept/broken down. Overall ok, but not as good as the other all inclusive I have been too in Cancun, though more $$$.

Liked: Hotel Location, staff and room were great. Disliked: Not much food variety. $$ for room service which counters the "all inclusive" notion. The biggest issue was the "timeshare" folks. Asked for 90-minute, but took about 4-5 hours to sell us their loyalty program.

We had reservations at the property next door. It wasn’t for us. We made this reservation and got a swim out suite no problem. We have stayed here many times. We decided to try another resort. That won’t happen again. We love it here. Clean nice safe….and the staff is amazing !
