Awesome pools and beach, and the property had a plenty of space and list of activeties The night shows are really Nice. The rooms are a little outdated, but still enjoyable.

Beautiful property and amazing beach. The food was the worst tasting of the many all inclusives I’ve stayed at. Also ended up with a stomach bug that seems to be sweeping through the resort right now. Room was comfortable and clean. There was a weird red light motion sensor in the bathroom that they assured me was not a camera. The resort is huge and a long walk from family rooms. I would not return but that beach was amazing.

Overall great. There was alot of ran over 3 days and so the structure was experiencing some leaks. The staff were out managing it the best based on the amount of rain and winds. One bathroom in the buffet area was challenged as well.

Room outdated,reserved 1 king bed,was given 2 queen beds,the air conditioner didnt work and to top it off... Roaches. I have been hete before a couple years ago an everything was good. Now all they emphasize is trying to sell you the black bracelet(Elite). They have lost a loyal customer.

Great hotel for adults and family, lots of activities and restaurant options, walkable to the core of play del Carmen, bikes are available to Use in gated community, kayaks snorkels, water boards and paddle boards are available for free as well! Free nightly shows! There is a little water park for kids! Great resort overall

**Review of Sandos Playacar, Mexico** I recently stayed at Sandos Playacar, and it was an incredible experience. From the warm welcome to the exceptional service from our guide Kena, everything was top-notch. **Food:** The resort offered a fantastic array of dining options. The buffet was fresh and diverse, while specialty restaurants like the Italian and Asian venues provided outstanding meals with exquisite flavors. **Hotel Room:** Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and very clean, complete with a comfortable bed and a lovely balcony view of the gardens. **Restaurants:** Each restaurant had a unique atmosphere, and the attentive staff made great recommendations. The themed nights added to the culinary adventure. **Gym:** The fitness center was well-equipped, allowing me to maintain my workout routine. **Spa:** The spa was a heavenly retreat. I enjoyed a rejuvenating massage in a serene atmosphere, with a variety of treatments available. I also loved the complementary hot tub experience. **Beach:** The stunning beach featured soft white sand and crystal-clear waters. The beach staff were attentive, enhancing our relaxation with towels and refreshments. **Concert:** The evening concert added vibrancy to our stay, with live music creating a fun atmosphere for all guests. **Customer Service:** The customer service was exceptional, especially from KENA who provided invaluable insights and made us feel like VIPs throughout our visit. What I liked was the temperature of the pools, the room temperature and jacuzzi, I also loved the twin stacked up bed for the kids they loved it. The kids area was nice and entertaining. The staff was so so, long times for check in process and long times for checkout. Overall the staff was not very friendly except for the waitresses on the Main buffete. The taste of the food was good overall but many times they didn't refiled the buffet on time so not many diahes were ready at the time. The things I disliked mostly are the smell of the sewer pipes that was very strong in many areas of the Hotel including the main entrance of the buffet area. The floor on the secondary restaurants was like greasy and slipery all the time and a few other maintenance issues related with the window locks an general maintenance of thw building.

The property is old and run down. Most elevators did not work. The transportation that would take us around the hotel was never on time at 1st service. Asian restaurant was terrible uncooked rice in the sashimi. NY steak at the steakhouse was hard and full of fat steak cuts at the buffet were way better and that should say a lot. Average property with potential with a lot of work it can be good.
