Overall we had a good stay. For the amount we paid I expected excellent. I’ve paid much less at other resorts and received much better service and amenities. To begin with, we ate tacos 3 nights in a row because anytime we went to the restaurants for dinner there was 30 tables ahead of us at 8pm! I can’t believe they don’t have reservations or can’t sustain more people in the restaurants. We were stuck to eat tacos that they made every night and they weren’t good. Room service took 90 minutes most days. Our last night we did the Japanese restaurant where they cook in front of you at 9pm. We were full from eating before that we didn’t even enjoy the food, the show wasn’t something that WOWED us either. Hibachi or Benihana has done better. It was actually boring and extremely hot to sit in front of. Our last full day we ended up spending it on the other side of the resorts where the people are basically harassing you to get a massage, the third day we caved in and went and I regret it so much. The walk was so long and it was a waste of my day. I’m kind of upset the hotel lets them solicit the clientele when most of us just wanted to relax and enjoy the beach. They did not stop asking throughout our time out there. I definitely expected something else, I’ve stayed at other secrets resorts and I was amazed by the food and the nightly entertainment. That was not the case here. I will not be coming back to this resort.

Me and my wife came here for our honeymoon. This has been the best experience at a resort for both of us. The rooms are amazing, very modern and clean. The food is outstanding at every restaurant, with plenty of options to choose from. They don’t do reservations at this resort besides for one of the restaurants. I recommend to go to dinner earlier rather than later to avoid waiting time, which can be up to 2 hours, depending on how busy it is. The service from the employees was AMAZING! They do a great job to accommodate all of your needs. This resort has a great option of pools to choose from. Each pool gives a different experience. If you want something private, you have those options, as well as if you want something more hype. I recommend upgrading to the preferred club, because with this you have access to the rooftop infinity pool and restaurant. You also get a complimentary hydrotherapy spa session which was amazing and one of our best experiences at the resort. With preferred club, you get a lot more benefits, and trust me it’s worth it. The resorts entertainment team does a great job to keep you entertained from morning to evening, if you would like. The only negative thing that I can say about this resort would be that the beach isn’t as clean as some of the other resorts, but the pools make up for it big time. Overall, this resort is a 10/10 and I am coming back here for sure, I would recommend it to everyone!

My partner and I spent 3 nights at this resort. We stayed on the Secrets Moxche side and opted for the preferred package, ocean view room, which gave us access to a beautiful rooftop garden restaurant, and separate check-in lounge complete with its own bar and hors d'oeuvres. We also had a concierge on our floor. The property is absolutely stunning! From the moment you arrive, you're met with breathtaking views and top-notch service. The food and drinks were delicious, but the drinks were not strong at all. The pools were plentiful, but very warm. I found myself wishing that at least one pool had cold water. There was a strong push to get us to agree to attend the resort's special tour ("vacation club presentation"), which was a bit aggravating. Despite mentioning to several staff members that we were celebrating my birthday, we didn't receive any special recognition (though we saw celebratory banners on many other hotel room doors). This was slightly disheartening. The resort seems to be geared towards couples; the vibe is very romantic. They do have a sports bar and a nightclub, but we only stopped in briefly to check these out. This was my 4th trip to Mexico and the first time I fell ill. Perhaps I was a bit too lax this time when it came to water consumption/ice cubes. I managed each day with the help of Pepto Bismol. Lastly, the beach was not swimmable. We knew this going in and it wasn't a deal breaker for us, but something to keep in mind if that is important to you.

Loved the food which it it's main attraction. However, if you want to do lots of activities then this is not the resort for that. It's first, second, and third priorities are food and other activities and options take a backseat to them using the majority of their staff to accommodate the food options.

The room is amazing. Spacious clean, and updated. We love the modern architecture and decorative style! Builds maps can be a bit confusing but should be able to get familiar pretty soon. Not a lot of people, not crowded. Which we LOVED! gives much more sense of privacy and peacefulness. Restaurants are very good. Dinners were amazing! Would be possible wait time for popular restaurants. Only wish if there were more lunch options( we loved Seasoul especially). Room service menu is somewhat basic. But I love the secret box they have in the room. They have a lot of pools and some more private tubs. Many swim up bars. There beach/ocean might not be the best views. Not as clear and blue. But we loved their pool options so it wasn’t a big issue for us. Many entertainment activities WiFi could definitely be better, as you will often get weak signals/disconnected. Service overall is great, everyone was welcoming and helpful. There are always people by the pool area to help with any needs. Did notice towards end of the day the beach towels might not get restocked. Just had some an incident where one of the guy working at pool side was trying to take our chair for some other guests and stated we can either be in the pool or on the chair not both. And took our drinks and stuff away as we are telling him to find some other chair for the other guests. Other than this one incident we had a great time.

Can not say enough good things about this resort!!!!! The preferred club is definitely worth it for the Observatory and rooftop pool alone, plus Hugo at the Observatory was the kindest and most attentive ever! The luxury at this resort was unmatched and I will definitely be coming back!
