The property is amazing, however it is extremely large and one thing one must take into account is the amount of walking that is involved. 15 min walk minimum to anywhere from the room. There is shuttle service that is offered but that is something that you have to wait on and in case of bad weather may not offer sufficient room thus extending wait times. The food is much much better than other resorts at all the restaurants and buffets, but room service is limited to only dogs, burgers and a salad. The staff is absolutely top notch. Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel happy and that your trip is enjoyable. Even tho there were many construction projects going on all at once, the property was very quiet and access to all activities was not hindered.

This was our third and last stay here. We spent 14 nights at GS and could tell from day 1 that the resort is going downhill fast. From watching them rinse toilet plungers in the fountains that people dip their feet in to the open live electrical lines next to the pool to the staff at the beach cafe throwing ice at the wildlife and almost hitting us, these are only a few things. Our toilet would not flush and, despite telling several staff, it never even got looked at. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable. We woke up sore every morning. The maids would fold our dirty towels from the floor and put them back up for us to use as if they were replaced. They are adding restaurants, which is great, but more restaurants were closed than open, limiting availability and choices. The buffet was ok but seemed repetitive every night. The ladies rarely come by to serve drinks in the pool. We noticed the same trash on the ground several days in a row around the property. We loved Karla in the coffee shop. She was always smiling and took great care in the drinks. Also, Ramon at the dinner buffet works very hard and is great.

I loved my whole exiperence at Grand Sirenis. The staff was the greatest... very friendly. The drivers was helpful getting around the resort and knowledgable of the resort and surrounding area. Enjoyed trying the different variety of restaurants they offered. For 2 senior citizens wanting a fun relaxing vacation in a beautiful sunny location, we got it. I give it 5 stars and hope to return one day.

The staff was very serviceable, you ask for something and they never said no, they went above and beyond to make sure you were happy on the other hand concierge not so much. When I arrived from a long day of traveling I was given a room that was dirty ,hair on the bed , floors dirty tables etc I called reception and the lady who answered really didn’t care I had to call a 2nd time and advise I was not staying in a dirty room if they had another room I said I’ve been traveling all day with 3 kids and I want to do was to I unwhine and relax and that’s when she sent a service bell boy to show me another room which by the way wasn’t a 10 but he did sent someone to clean the floors. The hallways were dirty with food that’s why the animals were always there raccoons and lemurs even though there harmless but the kids didn’t like them. We ate mostly in the buffets because there were never reservations open to all the restaurants they had impossible for even concierge to even try to accommodate you. So many restaurants and you can’t even book before you get there. So that was very disappointing. Overall the staff which I mean people at the bar and the buffet are very nice and helpful. Don’t know if I’ll go back would try other hotels

Going in to the resort after reading some reviews about AC not working, toilet, not flushing, and problem with dinner reservation. We stayed in the room 2731, the AC worked great, and We didn’t have problem with the toilet. We were able to get dinner reservation without any problem (Maybe it was because it was low season?). There is construction going on, they are renovating part of the resort. The pool need a little TLC other than that, it was great.

The work staff and all of the workers, from the cleaning crew to the waiters and food service, to the pool entertainers and the evening entertainers, were outstanding. The pools were very well designed and enjoyable. The beach was, well, incredible.

Grand sirenis Second time at Grand Sirenis and had a fabulous time. The property is currently being renovated so the theatre was closed so they had a makeshift stage in the downstairs portion by the lobby bar. It was loud and was busy as there were children and family’s in the bar area but was fine. We had drinks there every night before dinner and it didn’t bother us. Julio Ceaser was our waiter for breakfast and lunch at buffet Tulum and was an absolute delight. We made sure to have breakfast with him every morning and lunch when we didn’t eat by the beach. The employees were all fantastic and kind so show some appreciation for the wonderful vacation you are enjoying by handing over a few dollars to your bellboys, waiters, bartenders, and housekeepers.We were there for 8 nights and were able to book 7 restaurants on the first day. Food was so much better in restaurants than the dinner buffet (not great). The food at the restaurants was vastly improved over the last time we were here. Way to go grand sirenis!!! The beach is nice and wasn’t over crowded. It is rocky so bring water shoes. Also snorkeling gear if you are into that as there were a ton of fish to see. The beach bar was good and offered your staple resort drinks. If your into wildlife your going to have an amazing time. Saw monkeys everywhere especially otw to breakfast in the morning. Coaties, iguanas, sereques, raccoons and so much more!! Literally everywhere!

We enjoyed our stay at this property very much. Unfortunately, half of it was under construction and while this did not really interfere with our stay, I would like to have seen the hotel in its entire glory. Staff were friendly, we didn't get into some of the restaurants which meant too much buffet food and that got monotonous after a while. Wish the main lobby buffet had air conditioning because it also made it uncomfortable to eat. Air conditioning in room was not good either, but we were on the end of the building so that might have been why. We still had a great time.

Ac doesn’t work well in rooms and isn’t on at all in dining hall. Food was not good. Concierge by rooms are pushy and pretend they can’t get you into any of the restaurants you paid for unless you do a 90 minute presentation which was really annoying. Also, the grounds are huge so lots of walking. The grounds were gorgeous though and Ivan from the front desk was helpful and great about getting us into the restaurants.
