I LOVE the neighborhood. The hotel and the staff were not professional. I am paying a lot of money to stay there to be treated so poor. First, I was given attitude by the guy who parks the cars. Second, the guy who wears crumby tshirts did not share any amenities when we checked in like breakfast was on only weekends. Then our shower didn’t work. No one came to fix it. I am from Queens originally and visit a lot since I moved. I will not staying here.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! The elevator broke the first day and we were on the third floor. The room is dingy and poorly maintained. The bathroom sink leaked so badly to the floor, we could not use it. The “breakfast” is a broken “pancake machine”, coffee of some sort, stale bread, and even staler cereal bowls. You are lucky if you can find milk, sugar, or heaven forbid, half n half. Lobby furniture is filthy, but cleaner than in the rooms.

The room next to us fell asleep with their TV on and blasting. It was a room with a connecting door which was closed and locked of course. Called the front desk at 2:45 am and they did not resolve the issue. Called back again at 3:10 am and woman at front desk said she will try and knock on the door. The TV blasted all night and we couldn’t get much sleep.

Safe and quiet neighborhood. We walked to our dinner place from the hotel. The room was okay, although the bed was good, the bathroom was meh. Staff were helpful and nice. Overall an ok experience.

The Andrew is conveniently located in the heart of Great Neck, just steps away from the LIRR station with excellent train service to Grand Central and Moynihan Penn Station, as well as the NY Mets and US Open stadiums at Flushing Meadows. Small, quiet and comfortable, it’s an alternative well worth considering. While there’s a coffeemaker in the room, a simple continental breakfast served daily would be a nice addition … but there’s a Dunkin Donuts next door and restaurants nearby.

I called within a day in adavnace to let them know we were getting late since was a really late flight , when i got there they had me as a no show. had to wait for 1 long hour at 1am tired , but finally they gave me the room, everything else was fine

On the plus side, the beds were comfortable and the night attendant at the front desk was very professional. However, the condition of our room was poor--huge gouges on the linoleum floor, dirty bathroom tiles, a bathtub that drained so slowly that I raced to shower before the tub overflowed. They only provided one coffee pod, which was decaf (!!!), and the included breakfast was paltry. It was fine for a night, but I would stay elsewhere if other options were available.

Lazy night shift front desk employee
The guy in service at the front desk on the night shift, was unfriendly and lazy. He was always staying in the back and coming out, yawning, only when he had to and making me wait for several minutes. Not to mention he was laughing on the phone with some girl the first night. I asked for an extra towel as there were only two despite the fact we were 3 people checking in. His answer was: there are no towels. You can request them tomorrow after 9:00am. Only because he did not want to go and get one. The night before, the manager brought me one to the room. He also never mentioned anything about WiFi and especially told us the wrong room number! (He told us 310 instead of 406 so we had to go back to the front desk just for him to repeat the same unwelcoming behavior). Furthermore, the sink was not draining. Light bulbs not working. But, most of all, the included breakfast was extremely disappointing. The first day I went there, around 8:30am, there was nothing. Not even coffee! I had to request some and they made a fresh pot and brought some low quality croissant. The stay was not cheap and the hotel is overrated. It shows 3 stars but I would rate it 2 or 2.5 stars max! Will not go there again!
