We loved that the hotel was 1 min walking distance from the beach, restaurants and shopping. Hotel was average .

Just got back from my second stay. What can I say . The place is clean, A/C works , bed is comfy, staff is attentive. Then there is the beach. Oh and the lil hidden gem of a burger joint just down the street. WOW!! Looking at flights for a return trip already in February.

Easiest way to experience North Beach ❤️ Golf carts are always available, at hotel entrance, for island exploration. Love it here !! Just remember to pack a washcloth

This place is OLD. I know tht most places are on the Island but my room had to hv been the oldest. The refrigerator in my room was probably the first one ever built and it looked like it. I was afraid to use it. It had rust around it. My AC leaked the whole time I was there. The windows didn’t shut completely so you hear everything going on outside. Plus it made the room always humid. Yes, it is close to the beach but I don’t think it’s worth staying there just for tht.

A cat 1 hurricane. The property had no facilities for a hot drink or even cold food. Everything closed not allowed out of course. No employees on site we saw. Stuck in room (3 people) 24hrs nothing to eat or drink but water. Air conditioner very loud so no sleep, too stuffy and humid to turn off. Maybe they could have prepared a cold takeout and a thermos of coffee.

Property is fine, quiet and nothing fancy.. one tip, pack on cooler for drinks/easy snacks on the beach, drinks can be expensive at the bar on the beach.. we didn’t use the pool a lot, its small but very quiet and nice if you need a break.. Morning on the beach 7am-11am is the so peaceful and refreshing.. Breakfast at near by restaurant is just enough for start of the day( 7:30 is the earliest you can go) But restaurant called Green Garden (I think that’s the name , couple of sours down the street from Maria’s is such great place for coffee and breakfast.. Overall great and relaxing time ..
