Preface this review with the fact that as a family we travel a lot to many places around the world and are not overly picky.
Start off with the good.
The beach is beautiful and the overall staff is good, food selection is good and varied. The cafe at the front is great.
Our issues started at check in. The person who checked us in didn't explain much to us including the download of the app to access the schedule of activities and restaurant reservations.
We only found out about the app from other guests. The app itself is not easy to navigate.
Once we got to our rooms after checking in (2 rooms) 1 of the rooms was fully under construction. We were reassigned a room for the night and told to go back to the front desk next day to change to a new room for the rest of the week. No compensation offered for the inconvenience.
The water temperature for the showers is lukewarm and you're lucky if you get hot water.
The only place you can get AC is in your room, the a la carte restaurants or the sports bar. Everywhere else is open air. Including the buffet dining area. It's hot. And we were there off-season so I can imagine how hot it gets during peak season.
The wifi is spotty at best throughout the resort.
We had an infestation of ants in our room.
Overall it was ok. The beach is fantastic but any hotel you get along this strip will give you the same beach.
Would not come back to this hotel.
